About This Role
The Behavior Technician role is your entry point into a meaningful career in ABA therapy. You don't need prior certification. We provide the 40-hour RBT training, supervised fieldwork, and exam support to help you become a Registered Behavior Technician. From day one, you'll work with children with autism under the guidance of experienced BCBAs, learning a profession while making a difference.
What You'll Do
- Complete the 40-hour RBT training program (provided and paid by Sunny Skies ABA)
- Deliver one-on-one ABA sessions under close BCBA supervision
- Learn to collect session data and implement treatment plans accurately
- Build positive, trusting relationships with children and their families
- Support children in developing communication, social, and daily living skills
- Participate in ongoing training, feedback, and skill development
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Genuine interest in working with children with autism
- Coachable attitude and willingness to learn
- Patience, energy, and dependability
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Ability to pass a background check
- No ABA experience required (we'll train you)
